Ms.
Jean:
Ms. Jean’s started at Play & Grow in 2003. Her favorite thing
about working with preschoolers is “watching them learn & discover new
things.” She also admires “their energy and enthusiasm.”
Ms. Jean is also active in the community where she has managed a Little
League team for 6 years. She likes to play softball as well. And
when she’s not busy working with preschoolers she’s at home with her
husband and son Brendan who is 10. In her spare time she likes to
shop, cook, entertain and go to Jets games.
Ms.
Angela:
Ms. Angela has been at Play & Grow since 2001. She loves “to
see how happy the children are when they accomplish something new on their
own.”
She has two children, Christina and Nicholas. In her spare time she
likes to do crafts, garden, read and cook.
Ms.
Deanna:
Ms. Deanna’s started teaching at Play & Grow in 2003. She loves
working with the preschool age because “that is where their little
personalities start to bloom.”
In addition to teaching preschool each morning, Ms. Deanna teaches dance,
music and voice.
In her spare time she also likes to read, write and do martial arts.
Ms.
Heidi:
In 2007 we welcomed Ms. Heidi. She earned her
Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology from
Kean
College
. Before coming to Play & Grow she was a preschool teacher in
South Brunswick
.
Ms. Heidi’s favorite thing about working with preschoolers is “their
honesty, creativity, energy and enthusiasm.”
When Ms. Heidi isn’t teaching she enjoys spending time with her family
including daughters Brianna and Madison and her son Michael.
Ms.
Kerry:
We welcomed Ms. Kerry to Play & Grow in 2007. Prior to Play
& Grow she worked in the
South
Brunswick
Township
preschool. Her favorite thing about working with preschoolers is
“watching them learn new things every day.”
When not working she enjoys traveling with her family including her son,
Mark and her daughter, Jennifer. She also loves to read.
Ms.
Jeanne:
Ms. Jeanne started working at Play & Grow in September 2008.
Before becoming an assistant teacher she ran her own in-home daycare.
She enjoys working with preschoolers because “they continue to teach me
how to keep young.”
When not work she spends time with her family including her daughter Julia
and two sons, Nick & Matt.
Ms.
Catherine:
Ms. Catherine started working at Play & Grow in September 2008.
Before becoming an assistant teacher, she would watch children in her home.
Her favorite thing about this age is “seeing the amazement on their faces
as they learn a new task or see something for the first time.”
Ms. Catherine enjoys running, reading, hiking, playing sports and cooking in
her spare time. She also likes to spend time with her family including
her two daughters, Cailee and Krista.
Ms. Marianne:
In October 2009 we welcomed Ms. Marianne who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Psychology. Every job she's had has been related to children because she can't get enough of "their total innocence and unbridled enthusiasm!" When not working with children, she enjoys spending quality time with her family including her own three children.
